Kengro Corporation Harvest

Harvesting 2019

This bird's eye view of our harvest offers great insight into the first step of Kengro's process: growing and harvesting.

Harvest season this year was a bit of a struggle. The life a farmer is always determined by the weather, so during the months of February and March, our team sometimes has to sit back and let Mother Nature run her course.

In an ideal world with no rain and perfect ground conditions, we would be able to cut about 30-40 acres of kenaf a day for 8 days straight. This season, our harvest was spread out over a month due to the rain.
